J-TAN
About
The JDS Program, originally part of the Japanese Government’s overseas development assistance and funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, was established at the University of Tsukuba in 2002 in the former Master’s Program in International Area Studies. During the program’s 20-year history from 2002 to 2022, 136 Fellows from 10 Asian countries have graduated from our course. From 2013, the JDS Program has been funded by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and welcomes Fellows from China.
J-TAN, the JDS Tsukuba Alumni Network, was established in September 2023 to help celebrate the University of Tsukuba’s 50th Anniversary in Tsukuba. We encourage all current and former Fellows to join J-TAN and keep in touch.
Please see the link below for more information on how you can join J-TAN.
