- His research interests lie in solving socioeconomic issues related to macroeconomics, public economics, labor economics, and international trade. He has investigated the effects of unpredictable exchange rate movements on export growth in response to labor market rigidity. Additionally, he focuses on understanding how exports impact economic growth and income inequality in port areas relative to non-port areas. Using novel subnational data obtained from remote sensing and satellite images, he examines the population patterns in port areas relative to non-port areas. During his graduate studies, he has accumulated substantial knowledge in econometric techniques, empirical analysis, academic writing, and analytical programming tools such as Stata, R software, QGIS, and LaTeX.
