We will hold entrance examination orientations for the 2023 Doctoral/Master’s Program in International Public Policy according to the following schedule. If you are interested in applying for the Program, or if you have any questions about the curriculum or life as a graduate student, we encourage you to participate.

July, Master’s Program (recommendation-based admission)
- Publication of application guideline: now available
- Application period: May 27, 2022 (from noon JST) – June 3, 2022 (by 3 p.m. JST)
- Examination date: July 6, 2022
- Announcement of results: July 15, 2022
October, Master’s Program (general admission)
- Publication of application guidelines: now available
- Application period: September 2, 2022 (from noon JST) – September 16, 2022 (by 3 p.m. JST)
- Examination date: October 13-14, 2022
- Announcement of results: November 1, 2022
January to February, Master’s Program (general admission) & Doctoral program (general admission)

Quatas and examination periods
Master’s Program
- Admission quota: 29 students (recommendation-based admission: 7, general admission: 22)
- Entrance examination period: recommendation-based admission (July), general admission (October)
Doctoral Program
- Admission quota: 10 students
- Entrance examination period: general admission (January to February)

Choosing the languages other than English or Japanese for the foreign-language examination
Statement must includes the following information
- Which language you want to designate
- Your name, university and department
- Research Area and potential supervisor
- Relevance between your research plan and the language you choose (no more than 400 words in English or 1200 characters in Japanese)
*must fit in one page of A4 paper. You can write the statement in any format.
Submission
Send a printed copy of the statement with a stamped, self‐addressed envelope (for express mail) to the following address, AND send an electronic data to the following email address.
